
History
Establishment of the Silesian Cellulose Factory (Schlesische Sulfit-Cellulose-Fabrik Feldmühle) on the site of the current plant.
The factory is sold to the Waldhof-Manheim group.
After the seizure of Koźle by the Red Army, the factory equipment is dismantled and transported to the USSR.
Creation of the 'Paper Machinery Factory under construction' in Koźle-Port. Commencement of adaptation works of the former cellulose factory.
Commencement of production of machinery for wood-based panel production lines. First export to the USSR.
Formal change of the company name to Kozielska Machine Factory "KOFAMA".
Expansion of product range to include machinery for the chemical industry. Dynamic export growth and employment exceeding 900 people.
Acquisition of the foundry department in Racibórz, supporting the production of internal machinery.
Restructuring and launch of machinery production for classification and enrichment of minerals (coal, copper ore).
Commercialization - transformation into a State Treasury-owned limited liability company.
Combatting the effects of a catastrophic flood that submerged the plant up to a level of 3 meters.
Obtaining ISO 9001 Certification (TÜV Hessen) for the design and manufacture of industrial machinery.

Inclusion of Energomontaż Zachód Wrocław and OPOLREM into the structures of KOFAMA Koźle S.A.
